Pay it Forward - Week Entry 83 (the real 83...)

This is my submission for the Pay it forward Curation contest run by @thedarkhorse and @pifc.

Oke doke... I'm thoroughly confused and have a serious sleep deficit apparently! I thought that last week was Week 83... but it turns out that everyone else is only doing Week 83 this week... so either I am so tired and screwed up and was a week out last week, or more likely, I traveled ahead to the future and completed this week's @pifc contest already... and now I'm doing it again.

Probably, definitely, most likely the latter.... I'M NOT TIRED!

Retro Gaming

Retro gaming is always a dangerous thing... there is every chance that our fond memories of gaming days past... should stay nicely rose-tinted and free from contact with our future selves with our future expectations. @gabox (REP 65) sends us down memory lane with this featured post highlighting the unknown and hidden featured of the venerable Nintendo GameCube!

Actually, this was one of the Nintendo consoles that I DIDN'T own.... I had the NES and SNES... and now the Switch... but there were quite a few that I missed in between.Well, that comes from being a PC master race gamer... still, it is interesting to see how the Game Cube was pretty forward looking for it's time!

Film Reviews

In this featured post, @janenightshade reviews a horror movie... Angel Heart, which has some pretty famous names in there! I'm glad that someone can review these horror movies... I can't watch any of them... if I see a horror movie, I won't be sleeping for the next month! Weirdly, enough... one of the first movies that my wife and I watched together was the terrifying "The Ring"... the original Japanese version. I tried really hard to be a man... and to be brave... but I was terrified!

Still, this Angel Heart does sound pretty interesting... but I really know that I really really shouldn't watch it!
