Dream Diary - 14/1/19
Hello Again,
I have just wrote about my dreams from Sunday night. Now I have last night for you. I did wake up about three or four times last night. I was constantly tossing and turning. I did manage to get a few hours together. Only the one dream last night. Here it is.
Monday 14th January 2019
I was with my husband and his nephew. We were blowing bubbles out of bubble gum. Then I remembered I had braces and I wasn’t allowed any form of gum. My husband shrugged it off telling me I will be alright. We each unwrapped a piece of bubblegum and started to chew. I had just blown up a bubble and it popped.
It got stuck to my brace. I tried to pick the gum off but it was like glue! Then when I did pull the gum off, my wire came off with it. I put my hand to my mouth and all my teeth had moved. At one point it felt like they were all going to fall out! I put my hand to my mouth to hold my bottom teeth in place.
I knew I had to call my dentist. I picked up my phone and I desperately tried to type out his name in my contacts. My fingers weren’t working and i couldn’t type properly for the life of me. eventually i got hold of my dentist. It was late at night but he was in his office. Although he was taking to me on the phone, it felt like I was there. I explained the situation and he was surprisingly nice about it and almost cracked a joke! It felt like he put his phone on my face as he was sorting out my teeth.
I don’t like teeth dreams. I’ve read countless times that this is a bad omen. I’m not looking forward to see what’s coming to get me. I really hope it was just a dream and nothing bad is going to come my way. I know not to have anything sticky and I know my dentist would be mad if he found out I was chewing gum. He definitely wouldn’t be working late at night or be in a good mood about me doing something I shouldn’t. I was glad to wake up with my teeth in tact! It really was a horrible feeling, my teeth being so loose and grabbing a handful of them. Fingers crossed for a better night sleep!

Having dreams about teeth isn't always a bad omen. I read that when you have those kinds of dreams, positive major changes are coming. I've had many teeth dreams before an event that changed my life for the better, including getting my day job (been at it for 7 months now).
One tooth dream I had happened more than once. I was spitting out shards of glass. In this case, I was able to determine that when someone upsets me, the words I typically use can "rip someones soul apart like shards of shattered glass ripping through your skin". I took it as a warning to watch my mouth and tone it down a bit. I've done that and haven't had a dream like it since.
