Dream Diary - 6/3/18

Good Morning,

I didn’t have a great sleep last night. I had to be up really early as well. I went to bed at 10pm and I was awake just before midnight, 1am and 2am. I went to sleep for a bit and woke up at 3:30am with a nightmare! I had about an hours sleep after that before I had to get up. I am so tired. Here are my dreams, but none of them were nice.

Tuesday 6th March 2018

I dreamed I was at my mother in laws house. My sister in law was there and her husband too. He was telling me about the new candle with a glass and cast iron frame that he had purchased. It was reduced from £140 to £2!!! I had exactly the same one that I paid full price for but only in the dream. I was pretty peeved. I decided to go outside for some fresh air. Then my husband came and joined me to see why I was outside. I saw a group of kids and they looked like they were bullies. They approached my husband when I wasn’t looking and when I did see him, he looked like he had got beaten up! I saw a young man, probably in his early 20’s carry a blade into a block of houses. The blade looked like a giant pair of silver shears! I said to my husband ”We have to get out of here!” I had a feeling the young man was going to murder someone in the house and I didn’t want to hear it happen. As my husband and I tried to escape out of the area, the same man approached us. He looked like he was going to kill my husband! I jumped on the man’s back. He tried to stab me with the blade, but it just caught the skin of one of my fingers at the top and snipped it off. I managed to turn the blade onto the man and pressed it into his thigh. The blade was so big and I could see and feel it go into his thigh. That’s when I woke up! I felt sick!! I quickly snuggled up to my husband, waking him up in the process. I was so scared!!

Then I dreamed my neighbour was using my bin outside. When I went up to him to ask him what he was doing, he said my brother was at the bottom of the bin and he wasn’t alive! Then my bin changed from an upright one to one that was about 6 feet long and 3 feet high. I pushed the lid up and all I saw were chicken bones and lots of screwed up pieces of foil. I ran my hands all over the rubbish, pushing down on it to see if my brother was in there. He was!!! I didn’t see him, but my hands touched some hair that was dry like straw! My mum was in the house and I had to tell her my brother was dead in the bin.

These were horrible dreams! Most people say you have bad dreams from eating chocolate or cheese before bed. I had nothing of the sort and I had eaten a very clean and healthy meal! I think I would rather have some cheese before bed if I have bad dreams from not eating it! The first dream really shook me up. I honestly thought my husband was going to die. Seeing the blade go into the man’s leg really did make me feel sick. I had this horrible feeling in my chest and at the back of my mouth. Why on Earth did I have that dream? The second dream was just as bad! I love my brother, so why did I dream about him being dead in a bin? Why was there chicken bones and lots of foil too? I hope I have a good night tonight. I really don’t want to have these sorts of dreams again!
