Dream Diary - 3/4/18
Good Afternoon!
I woke up at 3am this morning and managed to get back to sleep at 4:30am. Then I woke up at 8am. I had so much to do this morning like you wouldn’t believe. I didn’t even manage to get a coffee down me. Hey ho, never mind. I’ve done what I needed to do. Now I can tell you about my dreams from last night.
Tuesday 3rd April 2018
I dreamed I was away on holiday with my husband’s friends and their partners. We were out in the countryside by a big reservoir. I decided to go back to a cabin and get a toboggan so we could go skiing on the water. Then afterwards I dreamed the water had turned to ice.
I dreamt I was drawing pictures of myself but my images were naked. My mum kept asking me why I was drawing myself like this, but I didn’t have an answer.
So two very small dreams from last night. It was nice seeing everyone in the first dream. I am due to meet up with everyone next month. I hope I don’t get a toboggan out to go skiing though. I would look like a right idiot! As for the second dream, I can’t remember the last time I took a pencil and drew something. I wonder what it means to draw yourself naked. Even more embarrassing for my mum to see!

Usually, according to old parents, if we dream of ourselves naked, then we will get embarrassed or something that is around us that will make ourselves feel ashamed of others. But it can be trusted, or not. It's up to each person. Thanks for sharing your story ..
I kind of look at the lake as the unconscious. That which is unexplored and contains mystery. The fact that it is a lake makes it a little safer than perhaps a great blue ocean.
The presence of your husband's friends and partners puts them in relations with the lake in some way. They are at the edge of mystery with you.
The icing over of the lake makes me think of a closing off to the unconscious. A freezing over that inhibits your exploration of it. Although you showed a desire to do so through seeking to find a toboggan or sled.
The naked pictures and the questioning mother make me think of the nurturing part of yourself that worries about you exposing yourself to danger and humiliation. It is asking you why you do it? Your act of drawing seems to imply you are seeking or inhabiting/embracing vulnerability.
