Dream Diary - 9/7/18

Morning Everyone,

Yippee, again I managed to sleep better than last night. I did wake up a couple of times. One, because I thought my onion was being eaten outside by animals and two, I could hear a door creaking where my cat was sleeping, so I had to get up and open the door a bit wider for him. I think I’m managing to get my sleep pattern back on track. Here is last night’s dream.

Monday 9th July 2018

I dreamed about fingernails. First of all I dreamed I was constantly looking through a catalogue of nail colours. I was mesmerised by all the different colours as I flicked back and forth through the pages. I kept coming across a page that had a shade of green polish. It showed three fingernails on the left hand page. One was a light, shimmery green colour, then there was a silvery mid green colour and finally, the last one was a glitter green that looked like it had silver squares that faded across the middle of the nail.

Then I dreamed I was doing my own nails. I had a false nail that I wanted to stick on my left hand thumb. I kept placing it on to see how it would stick. The false nail was so thick where it had to be stuck onto the base of my thumbnail. I took my file and I was filing the base of the false nail to make it thin so it would sit flush on my thumb. There were a couple of girls around me, looking at me as if I had eaten a bag of poo! It wasn’t like I was doing anything out of the ordinary! Anyway, I continued to file the fake nail. I woke up before I had stuck it to my thumb.

It’s been a while since I dreamed about nails. I haven’t dreamed about looking at a nail catalogue before. Probably just as well I don’t ever see one as I would probably want to order everything! I love different colours! I don’t know why I dreamed about the false thumb nail. My nails are quite short at the moment, because they kept splitting. I wonder if the thumb or the false nail symbolises anything. Answers on a postcard please!
