Tom got up and positioned himself just behind the wall from the hallway, listening carefully for any footsteps. Before long he heard them coming from around the corner.

“Fucking Bill. Always high as fuck.” The guard was muttering to himself. “I swear to god if you’re passed out-…” Before he could finish the sentence Tom pulled off the same move his father did. He slammed the guard with the butt of his revolver, sat the body down near a wall and snapped his neck. Tom then went on to start stripping the guard when he heard James’ voice from the room.

“Get him in here, stupid. We don’t know if anyone else is coming.”

Tom obliged and when he dragged the body inside James was already topless and only needed to take the guard’s shoes off to have him completely stripped. Tom quickly started to undress the guard and in all their hurry they completely forgot about the jar full of essence lying on the table. When James put on Bill's pants he noticed there was a strange card in his left pocket – a prototype of some sort – that was glowing the same hue of blue as the essence in the jar. He didn't think too much of it at the time and just tucked it back into his pocket to deal with later. It didn’t take long for them both to be changed into the black uniform of a guard – when James was done, he helped out Tom to finish faster– and focus on their surroundings again.
