Though entered through the other entrance, the procedure was the same. They turned their already empty pockets inside out for the security check and then passed on to the guard that they had to show their serial number to. After being successfully booked, they continued to the room with the linen bags, food, Lyterite and iron cups, and made sure to put one of each items into their bags.
With their bags over their shoulders, they entered the room with the pickaxed, and James put a frown on his face, sighed, and started complaining.
“This again?” He sighed loudly to make sure the guard could hear him. “Can I handle dynamite today?”
“Shut up! Take the pickaxe and go!” One of the guards shouted back at him.
“But yesterday one of you told me I can handle dynamite today.”
“Yeah. I was told that too.” Tom realized what James was doing and joined in.
“You are not qualified. Now take the fucking pickaxe and get out of here.”
“But I was promise-“ James continued, but the guard interrupted him.
“That’s it! You’re getting the fucking wheelbarrow! Come with me!” The guard pointed at James to follow him outside the room and towards the wheelbarrow place.
“Does the wheelbarrow pay 5 ribes too, or is it more?” Tom quickly asked not to lose his opportunity to join James with the wheelbarrow.
“You too, come on!” The guard pulled out his nightstick and told Tom and James to walk in front of him. It was exactly what the two wanted.
