Saving The Internet

11:37 AM: Do we want government to save it for us? Seize Domain Names? Alex Jones and Mike Adams talked about how the U.S. federal government should kidnap the domain names of the big tech, the main social network websites like Google.com and Facebook.com, yesterday, on Alex's show, 2019-03-27, Wednesday. Internet Highways: Generally, most people access Internet via Internet Service Providers (ISP) like Comcast who may route Internet traffic through certain gateways, routers, servers, systems, and ultimately, government routers, or so I've been told by the Internet. Most of the Internet is funneled through governmental systems (via the help of ISPs), as far as I can tell, especially in China for example. Domain Names: Generally speaking, websites are named via a Domain Name System (DNS) protocol. In other words, DNS will turn a website address of a bunch of numbers (93.184.216.34) into a domain name like Google.com for example. DNS translates the numbers into domain names and vice versa and has been doing so for the Internet since at least 1985, the same year I was born. ICANN: It seems that DNS is mostly managed by ICANN. This would mean that ICANN could capture domain names. But do we want that? For now, perhaps. Trump could try to seize domain names in order to make better deals to free the Internet from big tech monopolies, tyrannies, technocrats, globalists, etc. Evolution: The Internet has been evolving beyond that which means that ICANN cannot stop everything. The good or bad news is that organizations like ICANN can stop most of it. The problem is that then you would have government managing most of the Internet. That's why websites, blockchains, and systems like Steemit work to build their own Internet systems that don't have to flow through Internet Kill Switches. Yes, in other words, long story short, there are ways around the Internet ghettos, the Internet highways, the Internet switchboards, the ISPs, the governmental gateways, etc. Take the Domain Names: Yes, Trump should try to seize the domain names for now until he can do what he is also trying to do with the colleges, universities, all in the name of the first and fourth amendment. The Internet should get some kind of bill of rights. Trump should use his power to do things like that. But then after that, Trump should find ways to get rid of that kind of power in order to stop future presidents from undoing whatever that he does. Bingozee just called AOC me on the Infocomms.
