Here I am again doing another watercolor art. This is my 6th practice with watercolor. I hope before this year ends, I will be able to make better arts using watercolor.

If you look at my 137th art blog, I have painted already this beautiful woman, but I still cannot get over her. So, I painted her again. She is my one of my favorite female actors in the Philippines.

Painting Process

As what I have said, this is just a practice. I still have not mastered this medium and hope that I can learn more techniques and proper ways of using it. However, here are the steps...

Sketch the subject using a pencil. Hold the pencils lightly so that the graphite would not appear over the watercolor.

Prepare the tools and materials for painting.

Apply the base color for the face/ skin.

Then I start coloring the eyes and then gradually on to the other facial features.

Continue the process until the face is done.

Work on the other parts of your painting. In this case, I work on the hair and the hands.

Then I finish the whole face.😂

Then, work on the blouse and tgen the background.

Finally, I used colored pencils for detailing!.
