Hi, it’s me again to give you another illustration that I hope you will love. I dreamed of going to the zoo. So when I opened my eyes today, I told myself to draw an animal found in the zoo. I chose to draw a giraffe, then.

Maybe I dreamed about going to a zoo because I have always wanted to go to Cebu Safari located at Carmen, Cebu. However, time and money are not in consonance with each other. I mean if I have time, I don’t have money. If I have money, I don’t have time. Crazy!

Drawing Process

Since, I dont have plenty time in the morning, I decided to use coloring pens for a quick art. Here’s now the steps!

Step 1: Penciling. My availble pencil is a 7B pencil and it creates heavy and dark lines, so please do not do this.

Step 2: Inking. I also do not have my 0.5 and 0.6 inking pens. So, I just utilized my 1.0 calligraphy pen to do the inking. Crazy me!

Step 3: Erasing. After inking, I erased the unnecessary pencil marks.

Step 4: Started coloring Mr. Giraffe

Step 5: Coloring the Spots. I used orange and light brown for the spots.

Step 6: Coloring the Tree. I used the green and dark green in the leaves and light and dark brown for the trunk.

**Step 7: Coloring the Wall. I used shades of blue and green for the walls. Then, the finished artwork!
