Owwww! It is a fine Saturday!
I am alone in my room with my art materials only and my bed. Today, I have decided to continue practicing using watercolor. I think that I am so weak at this medium along with the waterbased and oil-based media.

But, this is how we get to where we wanna go... we dont give up... we keep on trying. I know I will reach the point when I will be satisfied with my watercolor adventure. Steemit records everything about it.

Sketching using an ordinary drawing pencil. I did not apply so much pressure when holding the pencil so that the guidelines would not be so visible.

Using orange and peach for the highlights! I wanted to start using light colors because I dont think layering light colors to dark colors can be achieved all the time.

Then I picked a color to be used for the skin and face. Violet won this time. Before spreading violets all over the face, neck and shoulder, I also used a light blue to add some highlights in some areas.

Next, I used black to color the hair, eyebrows and eyes! I think this was the most challenging part. I had to deal with very small details.

I added violet in the skin and face to add values. I also fix the ears and lips.

Finally, I added a background to give emphasis to the subject. I hope you enjoyed it.
