A Token for my Foster Parent during LWYD
I came to Balamban, Cebu for the 32nd Local World Youth Day. This is a yearly youth activity attended and participated by thousands of young people all over Cebu.
We would be fostered in one of the families in Balamban where we would stay for 3 days. Luckily, I was fostered in a very accomodating and welcoming Balambanon - Pitogo Family.
This is my foster siblings and foster mother, Mommy Alma
Mommy Alma
I really called my foster mother "Mommy" because I never had a mommy before. When the five of us arrived in their house, we were immediately served with our lunch. And after the meal, she told us the house rules, such as :
- Nobody should be hungry.
- Feel at home.
Yes, these are the two good important reminders of our foster parent to us. .
We were gathered here to have our early dinner together.
Clearly, I had a perfect stay in Balamban for the said youth activity. So, I intentionally made some simple token for my foster mother. I made her a portrait drawing of herself. I was very happy that she was pleased when she saw this. I hope you like it, too.

God bless you more with your talent. I think goodness attracts goodness. God bless her too because she gives selflessly. Her face shines kindness and willingness to help and with a beautiful smile to boot!
She is really kind. I have seen it in her when she talks and deals with her drivers, servants and employees.
That's the kind of person I want to be but it's a daily struggle. I'm having difficulty conveying kindness in how I speak and act. It's what I always pray to be as kind as I can be.
You can do that. It is not a work done overtime. Take it slow my dear
beautiful work :)
Thanks. But yours are more beautiful.
