Hi it’s a beautiful Monday morning. I woke up early. And as usual, I grabbed my little sketchbook to draw something. Since, I have a work to do as a teacher, I decided to make a quick art by scribbling. Scribbling doesnt really demand so much time. What I need is just the form of the subject and then the values to be placed. Well, that what I know. I didn’t study in a formal art school and I just make drawing my past time and relaxation time. Sometimes, they call that a “me time”.

Anyways, form is the position, pose and the gesture of the subject. Today, a scribbled a woman who poses elegantly, her hand is on her waist while the other is perfectly placed in front of her breast. She’s a goddess in my mind. On the other hand, value pertains to the amount of shade (lightness or darkness) in a specific area. Light is very important in other words. I have to determine where is my light source so that I can know where and what to darken.

So, it’s almost 8:00 in the morning here. I need to prepare for work. I need to work because I am not rich. Hahaha. 😂😂😂 Anyways, enjoy the process below.

Step 1: Sketching the outlines using a pencil.

Step 2: Scribbling the right hand of the subject.

Step 3: Scribbling the half of the body.

Step 4: Scribbling on the other half of the body.

Step 5: Scribbling the lower part of the body.

Step 6: Scribbling the left hand and the neck.

Step 7: Finally, scribbling on the face and the hair of the subject.
