Hi, all!

Today I have drawn the late senator of the Philippines who was also hailed as the Iron Lady of Asia, Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago.

She was one of the best senators of the Philippines, if not the only best senator. She served the country with excellence, dedication and honesty. She hated corrupt government officials and never hesitated to hit them.

She was also loved by many Filipinos because of her clever punch lines when she spoke to many people in meetings, gatherings and even in graduation rites. She had written and released books that the Filipino really love.

I hope that many would imitate the service and dedication of Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago. We need someone like her. We need honesty, discipline and commitment to bring our country to where it should be.

The Drawing Contest

The contest requires the participants to draw a woman with emotions in her face. Because of that I immediately thought of my favorite senator because she never hid her emotions to the Filipino people.

She laughed honestly. She cursed honestly. She got angry honestly.

In this drawing, she looks very disgusted and angry. This was a typical scene you would witness of the senator.
