I am not a watercolour artist. I just worked on watercolours like months ago and do not use it as my medium usually in doing my artworks. But I want to explore and venture another medium as well. No reasons at all!

So, here’s another watercolour art practice. I hope you like it and will enjoy this blog. I would appreciate it if you will give me tips and share your techniques in doing such art.

The Process

As what I have confessed above, I am not a watercolorist so please bear with me. However, I will still discuss the proces I have done to make this art. Enjoy!

Step 1: Sketching using an ordinary pencil.

Step 2: Outlining using a 0.6 inking pen.

Step 3: Coloring using brown for the hair and peach for the skin.

Step 4: Adding values on the skin by layering brown to the skin.

Step 5: Coloring the dress, adding background and final detailing of the hair and face.
