Hi friends!

We had left the drawing of our flower at this stage. We'll continue to fill the petals in the same way as we did earlier in the 113-Lesson.

01.jpg

Observe how the petals are filled in with fine lines that follow their curvature.

02.jpg

Now, look at the areas that are darker and try to replicate them, always with fine lines that follow the shape and curvature of the petals.

03.jpg

By drawing the carpel, observe the curved strokes to give a sense of the cylindrical shape.

04a.jpg

This deep zone, darker than the rest, is drawn with many fine strokes that follow the curvature of the petals. The dark areas are obtained by making many strokes on top of the other and not exerting more pressure with the pencil.

Now we look at the whole set to see if it is necessary to adjust some tones, darkening certain areas.
We have added a small stem too.

06.jpg

In order to highlight the light of the petals, we will make a dark area on the outside of the lower part of the petals.
I show you the steps to do the shading using the hatching method.

Finally, with an eraser, we highlight certain points. You can use a kneadable eraser or a rubber pencil for this.

Thank you very much! I really appreciate your support.

HI Jorge, I agree with Ran, that is really stunning. I like the lines along petals, like arches from centre to the tips. The hatching under the petals give nice contrast to the lines.

Thank you Stef, I really appreciate your kind words.

The cayenne is very beautiful.🤩
I will take your steps into account to see if it fits me the same.

Best regards.

Hola @pandora2010,

Personally, I am very inclined to go over the lines and clearly it should not be done, every detail that gives us a sum to improve, thank you very much for sharing this great drawing step by step.

Cheers

Gracias por tu amable comentario.

Gracias, Sr. Jorge. Saludos.

Hermoso en cada detalle.

Así si provoca entusiasmarse para aprender. Gracias por compartir y enseñar.

Bendiciones

@jorgevandeperre
This is unbelievably beautiful. You have drawn a picture of 'Vadamala' in this picture, haven't you?

Thank you!
Maybe, I don't know if this is the flower's name.
