Drawing like a pro - 28, - One point perspective - samples (Power up 100%)

in WORLD OF XPILAR2 years ago

Hi friends!

To inspire you, I've made some examples of cubes drawn in a one-point perspective.
Moreover, if you like to draw these exercises and at the same time want to colour them, I advise you to visit our friend @fumansiu's colour lesson that starts with an interesting appreciation of colour and light. What better complement?

In this drawing, the eye-level view or horizon line was placed in the middle of the sheet. Notice how all the horizontal and vertical lines are parallel to each other, they don't change their direction.
Also, notice how the rectangle drawn at the bottom left of the drawing sheet becomes smaller when it is drawn closer to the horizon line. This is something we will study in the next few lessons.

In this example, I drew a large square and other shapes such as a hollow brick, some steps, a street lantern, or a wall, to show you how by representing a square or a rectangle in volume and perspective, we obtain a cube with which to represent many shapes differents.
Notice here that the eye-level line was drawn at the bottom of the drawing sheet.

Do you draw these thin converging lines by hand or do you use a ruler?

I've used a ruler, my paper ruler. 😉
