Cover a Steemian - New entries and updates (22/09/18)
Hello Steemit!
It's been a while since I've done any posts regarding the #coverasteemian initiative, as with everything else in the platform , this initiative has taken a hit and I haven't been receiving entries regularly like before but as I have stated many times: This initiative is always open , as long as someone submits a song from another Steemian they want to support I'll be doing these posts and promoting and supporting those artists :)
As with everything , we adapt and keep going and I have been lately promoting another initiative of mine called ''Sponsor a Plankton'' , If you would like to read a little about it , here's the last post and our 3rd giveaway :D

- Let's use Dtube!
After joining and chatting with a few people over at their discord server I was suggested to use the @dtube app for video submissions. They have a very active curation team and are always in the look of cool musical content, if you decide to submit your cover a steemian video through dtube I strongly recommend you to present yourself at the start of the song , a simple '' Hello , I am _____ and this is a video for Dtube'' will let them know it is not a re-upload. Maybe you'll catch their vote ! I'll personally promote the submissions over at their server :D . As you may know , there is an account used for voting all valid entries to the open mic contest, this is a way to give some rewards to all the participants and help add some incentive to the music community. By joining the trail you will be upvoting all the valid entries in the contest , helping fellow musicians and also earning some curation money while you sleep! good deal huh?

Well , it seems that by this point Serena must be the most covered Steemian in the blockchain .. but it really doesn't surprise me as her songs speak for themselves .. each one of them hold a story and it just touches people. Simple as that. This time Amber did a very personal and intimate version of this song on an ukelele.. very ''bare bones'' and honest.. If a song works in that state , we can all agree it's a great song :D . So happy you shared this with us Amber.

The #coverasteemian initiative is always open , you can submit a video/audio anytime , just follow these rules:
-Cover a Steemian rules (updated 08/7/2018)
-Choose a song of a particular Steemian you would like to support.
-Contact him/her and ask permission to cover his song unless it is in the ''Song Pool''.
-Please , don't do a ''cover of a cover'' .. meaning copying another #coverasteemian entry or it will not be considered valid.
-No playback!
-Soundcloud , D-sound , D-live and D-tube links are also accepted.
-Do a post using the tag #coverasteemian, #music should be your second tag.
-The title of your post must start with ''Cover a Steemian''
-Tag @pechichemena and the Steemian you are covering.
-Share your post in the last ''Cover a Steemian'' update.
-Give us a little introduction of the song and why you want to support that Steemian.
-Transfer at least 50% of the SBD of that post (100% and even extra is still encouraged).
