Hello Steemians!

This is my entry for Steemit's Open mic week # 70!

Here are the lyrics, both is spanish and in english:

This is an original song I wrote about a month before I knew about the existence of this great platform and community,
It's insane to me to think that I've been participating for 9 weeks now!

I wrote it in Spanish as you can see, The day I wrote it I had decided to challenge myself to start it and finish it in one go, without breaks. I've always had real trouble writing songs in Spanish, even though I'm a native Spanish speaker, most of my life I've listened to music in english, and so It's way easier for me to do that in English. I had left this song saved up in my archives because I didn't what to do with it, to be honest.

Now that the songwriters challenge is over, I feel I now have the chops to take many of my old song ideas and finish them into full songs, not only lyrically but melodically as well, and I've gotten soooo much better at guitar through hard work these past 8 weeks that I feel I can even play them live by myself, which didn't feel possible just two months ago!

I hope you enjoy this song, I am really proud of it, it feels like a great accomplishment to me :)

Esta es una canción original que escribi casi un mes antes de saber de la existencia de esta gran plataforma y comunidad, ¡Es muy loco para mi pensar que he estado participando por 9 semanas ya!

La escribí en español como pueden ver, el día que la escribí decidí darme a mi mismo un reto, comenzarla y terminarla en un solo tirón, sin descansos. Siempre he tenido gran dificultad al escribir canciones en español, aunque soy hispano-hablante de nacimiento, casi toda mi vida he escuchando música en Inglés, así que siempre me fue mas fácil en inglés. La había archivado por que no sabia que hacer con ella, para ser honesto.

Ahora que terminó el Songwriters challenge, siento que tengo la habilidad de tomar mis viejas ideas de canciones y terminarlas, no solo líricamente sino también melódicamente, y mejore taaaanto en la guitarra con trabajo duro en estas 8 semanas que siento que incluso puedo tocarlas en vivo por mi cuenta, cosa que se sentía imposible hace dos meses!

Ojalá la disfruten, estoy muy orgulloso de ella, ¡se siente como un gran logro para mi!! :)
