Cover a Steemian update (21/04/2018) - How to support the Open Mic Contest, New entries, Song Pool update.

Hello Steemit!

Another week in for the #coverasteemian initiative , more entries keep coming and our song pool is also constantly growing and this is all thanks to you! I'm happy to see how the music community is getting closer through this initiative , that is what all this is about ! I hope to keep hearing music from all of you in the next weeks to come :)

First , a couple shoutouts!

This initiative is a little brother to the #openmic contest run by @luzcypher , so my support is always with the Open Mic family and I'd like to use this little space to give him and all the Open Mic judges my big thanks , they have been very friendly and supportive towards me since my start here in Steemit so I'd like to support them back as much as I can , I'm still a small account but If we'd like to help the Open Mic family there are a couple things we can do:

-Join the @openmic curation trail.

As you may know , there is an account used for voting all valid entries to the open mic contest, this is a way to give some rewards to all the participants and help add some incentive to the music community. By joining the trail you will be upvoting all the valid entries in the contest , helping fellow musicians and also earning some curation money while you sleep! good deal huh?

@pfunk is the main sponsor of the Open Mic contest , providing STEEM to give away as prizes to the 5 winners of the Open Mic Contest weekly! It is very important to keep him inside the Top 20 Witnesses for him to be able to give his continued support to the Open Mic Music Family.

This was such a beautiful rendition of "Wait" , powerful vocals and the addition of violin was just wonderful! I keep listening to this one over and over , I did collaborate on this one by editing and mixing the audio :)

-Cover a Steemian rules (updated 07/4/2018)

-Choose a song of a particular Steemian you would like to support.
-Contact him/her and ask permission to cover his song unless it is in the ''Song Pool''.
-Please , don't do a ''cover of a cover'' .. meaning copying another #coverasteemian entry or it will not be considered valid.
-No playback! You must be performing the song!
-Do a post using the tag #coverasteemian, #music should be your second tag.
-The title of your post must start with ''Cover a Steemian''
-Tag @pechichemena and the Steemian you are covering.
-Share your post in the last ''Cover a Steemian'' update.
-Give us a little introduction of the song and why you want to support that Steemian.
