One Year Anniversary of Punday Monday!

These things only happen once every year or so, so they’re big deals.

It’s time for an annual awards ceremony!

You get to choose the nominees!
At the end of this post, you’ll find a link to every Punday we’ve had this past year. Go have some laughs at all the puns, and when you find a pun that strikes you as very special, visit THIS POST on the @freewritehouse page and post it, crediting the author and linking to it.

Then read other people’s nominees, and upvote your favorite(s). The top 10 will move on to the awards ceremony next week, and nominees and whoever nominated them will each receive 1 @steembasicincome share!

Only the first person to post a particular pun will be eligible for the prize.

During the Awards Ceremony Week, whichever of the top 10 nominees gets the most upvotes will get 5 more SBI shares, and so will whoever nominated them in the first place!

Spread the news far and wide, feel free to encourage your followers to vote for the pun you’ve nominated (or your own pun if you’ve been nominated), it’s not cheating to advocate for yourself, after all, that’s how the Oscars, Emmys, and Tonys ultimately are decided.

As in,
Why do astronauts get so many awards? Because inevitably while you’re in space your muscles will get a trophy.
Bada-bing you been punned! You see, when you win an award sometimes the object that you get is called a trophy, and atrophy is when muscles deteriorate from spending a lot of time unused. This happens in zero gravity environments. Astronauts do a lot of special workouts to keep it from happening as severely, but inevitably, some atrophy still occurs.
