We left the drawing at this stage, the book on top is almost finished, so we'll work on the second book in the same way.

As you can see, everything is built with the hatching technique, darkening some areas by increasing the density of the strokes.

Como ves, todo está construido con la técnica de achurado, oscureciendo algunas zonas al aumentar la densidad de los trazos.

In the same way this third book is (almost) finished but with a minor density of strokes to achieve a lighter tone..

De la misma manera este tercer libro está (casi) terminado pero con una menor densidad de trazos para lograr un tono más claro.

Well, imagine the books floating on top of each other, illuminated by the sunlight falling on them as shown by the diagonal lines you see below.

Same for the shadow cast on the third book. The horizontal "ground" line defines the distance between the books.

Lo mismo para la sombra proyectada en el tercer libro. La línea horizontal de "ground" define la distancia entre los libros.

This is the final result, note that the entire drawing is revised to further darken some areas and lighten others.

Este es el resultado final, ten en cuenta que se revisó todo el dibujo para oscurecer aún más algunas áreas y aclarar otras.

It may not be too much to say that the shadows should be applied evenly and the edge should be a little blurred.

Puede que no esté de más decir que las sombras deben aplicarse de manera uniforme y el borde debe estar un poco difuminado.
