the night in the bus was relatively quiet and comfortable. around 8 o'clock we drove to the alquilo todo shop here in the city, this shop is a franchise variant, of the brand alquilo todo, which belongs to the father of johny. Here you can rent all sorts of tools for construction sites.

arrived at the store, we first cleaned the bus of all the dust that had accumulated in our ride across the streets of the peninsula, while we had breakfast facturas.

We started the work by sanding the two large entrance gates. they were then painted by me.

nilsi and johnny were busy building the smaller street sign, which we then hung up after a delicious lunch.

In the evening, we finally fixed the big letters over the door of the shop, a lot of work for only one long day.

Schlemihl was of course also with us ... and wanted to sell us letters ...
We then drove out of the city and looked for a nice place to sleep, near a dam. a little further in the country, so we do not have to drive so much tomorrow to lago vinnter.

During the morning we set off and drive along the seemingly endless RN 25, along the bank of Rio Chubut.

exceptional rock formations resemble the canyons lining our way to rio pico.

Here we buy some more meat and bread, so tonight we can make a delicious asado with stephan and nina.
I take a nap in the back of the van, while Johnny drives the last miles on the dirt roads and finally we reach the Lago Vinnter. There is nothing here except the campsite and the house of Stephan and his mother.

we take a shower with the warm water of the stove and lie down, to take a nap, until the early evening.
when stephan and nina come back from the campsite, we fire the grill and chat long, until late at night. The two can even speak German and so we all had a lot to say.
a really wonderful lake, and an absolute argentinian tip for every angler.

Once again we could sleep in a relaxed mood. Since Stephan and Nina had left early in the city, we had already said goodbye yesterday and after all had brushed their teeth, we drove off to the eastern shore of the lake.

Due to the snowmelt, the water level is particularly high this year. We still collect some beautiful stones on the shore and then continue to el bolson. I slept a little more.

Arriving in el bolson, we looked at the earthship, johnny helped with the construction here a few years ago. Michael Reynolds, the architect who built the first houses of this kind, also left his handprint here.

with the setting sun we reached bariloche in the evening and felt relatively exhausted from our trip. We sleep deep quickly, finally everyone in his room, after this nights of van-life.

a good breakfast is the start of a good day, so we took a little more time and also to discuss the tasks of the next few days.
I then began to mow the lawn and cooked noodles for lunch later.
while johnny and schnils are in the city to do some stuff, i post a new blog entry and when they come back they also have the first developed photos of the analogue camera. they have become really beautiful.

After showering, I start today with the chainsaw, which johnny brought from the city yesterday, to disassemble the remaining wood. because we have a lot of space in the woodshed now, we can prepare more.
In the early afternoon some friends of Johnny come by and prepare us a delicious assado down the pier.

the evening we will spend with a paddle tournament. This game is very popular in Argentina, a mix of tennis and squash. definitely brings a lot of fun.
When everyone heads for the city, nils and I went to bed.

Since it's already weekend again, we barely work today and because I'm upset, I build an oven in the parilla out of some old stones. The yeast dough for delicious grains bread is then also quickly prepared and just as Julian comes to visit us, the first bread is ready.

I also managed once again to make phone calls with ennio in the far away berlin and so designed and snapped some impressions and ideas for next year.
in the evening I watched a youtube series called R.A.P. by Hubertus Koch.

he describes in six episodes, using an alter ego situation, how to develop an idea that will ultimately lead to an event.
it is about german rap, syria, refugees and therefore to do something against looking away. Everything packed in an exciting series. well worth seeing, I'm curious what dimensions this is going to take and if he can realize his idea like he plans, in any case, check it out. after all, it is produced via a german television fee, called GEZ and that means wwe all contribute indirectly.
right away, I hardly have any idea of deutschrap or this style of music in general, but everyone will understand, that this idea has gigantic potential...
Apart from that, Hubertus Koch just comes across as a simple dude, who likes to change things, and I always find that exciting.

after we slept very long again, I spend this morning working on the blogpost. After lunch, I tinkered a while in the wood workshop with an idea for a Christmas present.

At the sunset, we did something that I wanted to do half a year ago, when I was here for the first time with Johnny. Together with Schnilsi I paddled with the kayak to the opposite bank of the lake to see the sunset behind the mountains and trees, from there.

On the way back we became very wet and the kayak rocked properly.
showered warm, we fell asleep happily.

and here we are again finished. i wish you all the best for Christmas, see you soon and I wish you nice days with the family.

love
pauli
