Head down,
Focused on the task.
Gotta get to where you going,
But do you have to go so fast?

It’s not the destination
-It’s the path

So many places to go;
So many things to do.
Crippled by anxiety
That you might not make it through.

It’s not the destination
-It’s the path

Worn out and lonely,
Your goals seem so far away.
Nothing seems worth the effort,
So you just keep life at bay.

It’s not the destination
-It’s the path

So stop and smell the roses,
Or contemplate your life.
What don’t kill you makes you stronger,
So don’t run from the strife.

It’s not the destination
It’s the path

When you finally reach the end
And view eternity,
You’ll understand the journey
Was always meant to be.
