Rough and broken
Jagged rocks-High cliffs
Stand in defiance
And laugh at you

Soft and easy
Grass carpet-Level Land
Welcome your passage
And cheer for you

Smooth but textured
Grainy sand-Crushed coral
Slow your pace
And talk with you

Wild, chaotic
Thorny thickets-Strangling vines
Guard the entrance
And glare at you

Hidden oasis
Mountain stream-Sandy springs
Restore your vigor
And comfort you
