Marvels of Magic - Day 76

Tall majestic creatures scan the forest floor,
Softly humming wisdom hoping one will heed their call,
As small egotistic figures just kick rocks to the side.
Pushing, shoving, shouting
Crowding out the call.

One wanders from the crowd
Looking for solace
Quietly breathing
Quietly listening
Quietly echoing their call.

Sun streaks highlight a humble seedling
As tiny green leaves convert energy,
Fueling its journey to majestic heights,
To one day join her sisters in the sky
And he marvels at the magic!

He follows the acoustic trail of bumble bees
Who gather round a lilac bush
Buzzingly vibrating their delights
In a sumptuous symbiotic dance
And he marvels at the magic!

The wind takes a moment to douse itself with the light purple fragrance.
Sharing the enchantment with this young Padame
Who breathes in the glorious scent
And graciously accepts the gift.
And he marvels at the magic!

He kneels down and gently brushes aside some leaves
To discover a teeming life pocket of diversity.
Slowly digging into the rich black soil,
He somehow senses the secret of invisible flora
That mine the inamimate and sustain all life.
And he marvels at the magic!

The majestic creatures yawn as dusk begins to settle
And the small less egotistic figure makes his way home.
Humming the ancient song of wisdom,
He whispers a vow of loyalty to these new mentors
And promises to continue his training
In the marvels of magic.
