Pep Talk - Day 33
Been a little discouraged and tired lately. Thought about quitting this challenge but decided to write a poem about my feelings and ended up convincing myself otherwise. Hope this helps convince others to do the same.
Just give up!
Give up, let go, let down.
Never finish what you start.
It’s too hard!
Too hard, no luck, no crown.
Never create that special art.
Can’t be done!
Be done, no more, that’s all.
Never make it til the end.
Just a loser!
Loser, no good, no gall.
You know it’s true, don’t pretend.
Don’t give up!
Give more, hold on, stand up.
You will finish what you start.
Not too hard!
Push hard, press on, head up.
Show them that you’re smart.
Will be done!
Done well, good job, great work.
You made it round the bend.
Not a loser!
Type them out like clockwork,
And everyday hit send.

I think that even though we feel like we're going to give up, we'll always have a hidden energy inside that waits to be used.

Dear @firststeps. Your poem today is an inspiration to many. It is easier to give up than to continue, but life does not recede. In my land there is a very true saying that says: "Pa'lante es pa'llá" (keep going, it's over there).
