Shattered - Day 8

in #poetry6 years ago

I don’t believe that God is a micromanager, though He clearly has an overall plan for humanity. For the most part He alows the natural proceeses of life to shape and mold our character, like stone being turned to sand. The Spirit is our guide, our teacher, and our healer as we navigate through this often harsh and cruel world.

Just because He sees
Doesn’t mean He decrees
Cause even the seas
Can break a wall of stone

But what He decrees
Is often deaf to pleas
Like the crashing of the seas
Against a face of stone

And when He’s at ease
And we are on our knees
The rolling surf and seas
Tumbles broken stones

And then what one sees
Within the gentle breeze
The retreating of the seas
Leaving sand instead of stone

The perfection of God in action. Wonderful reflection made poem. Serene and accurate your poetic vision, dear @firststeps

Excellent , and the use of nature to get the message across which I can’t stop complementing you about . Now I realize you love the ocean:) I also believe God is no micromanager , He sets his laws to manage while looking at the bigger picture indeed.
