When Two Spirits Meet - Day 44

Look close, closer, closely,
Past this veil that wraps a piece of the universe.

Touch deep, deeper, deeply,
Past this lining that insulates focused intensity.

Listen near, nearer, nearly,
Past this barrier that muffles the song of galaxies.

Smell keen, keener, keenly,
Past this odorous vessel that mixes with the aroma of a thousand bouquets.

Taste sharp, sharper, sharply,
Past this flesh that pales the delicacies of a cosmic banquet.

Feel soft, softer, softly,
To peel away the layers that bind the wings of angels.

Think bare, barer, barely.
Empty yourself of self to unwrap eternity.

Release slow, slower, slowly.
Cause your world might crash when two spirits meet.

Sort:

Charming and with much musicality, despite the fact that the subject is profound. Good job, @firststeps.

I love your poetry More when you give strength to words. Greetings.

I love the use of repetition in creative writing and poetry -- and I LOVED it here too. :)
