True Colors - Day 77
Just below the surface,
Waiting to reveal
The splendor of your glory
-True colors appeal
Currently subdued
By the mask of chlorophyl,
A necessary venture
Though slightly overkill.
It’s life giving function
Demands so much from you;
There’s very little time
To figure out the you.
But if you want to truly live
Then you must surely die,
So you can join the chorus
Of the colors of the sky.

It's true... I resonate with a few lines in this poem particularly...
It's difficult as youngsters we are expected to know what we want when we leave school and go out and get it... But we really don't know... that's a journey and a process and I hope that one day our children will get much better support in trying to figure out truly what they want.
I love the imagery used of the colors too. It makes the piece itself feel colorful :)

I love this walk through the colors of life or that they give life or that they are imprisoned or that they must be burst. I feel a deep reflection in your poem and a lot of wisdom. Good job, honey.
