No Longer - Day 5
Almost everything about the steemit platform screams freedom. That’s one of the reasons I love it here. So many people here have rejected the world’s systems, standing up, standing out and shouting “No Longer”
Stand up, Stand out
Open up, Shout out
No longer fragile
Free spirited agile
No longer trodden
Not soon forgotten
Stand up, Stand out
Open up, Shout out
No longer in prison
Your life has arisen
No need for reception
That comes with deception
Stand up, Stand out
Open up, Shout out
No longer bystanding
Just full understanding
No longer in blinders
Just facing the binders
Stand up, Stand out
Open up, Shout out
No longer injected
Holistic protected
No longer consuming
Just life unassuming
Stand up, Stand out
Open up, Shout out
No longer dependent
Your life is resplendent
No rounded-up wheat
You grow what you eat

Your poetry is extraordinary, @firststeps It has strength, relevance and adaptation to what is expressed. I love her. I regret not having come to read you before, I had not realized that we are "classmates".
Thank you for your beautiful words of encouragement. I enjoy your work as well. Hopefully one of our poems will win before the challenge is over.
Freedom makes us go to the very ends of our worlds and bring out the best of our abilities.
Thank you for sharing this @firststeps
I love this. I have to resteem this.
This is especially true for diehard offgrid homesteaders. Not quite there yet but one can dream.
