It's Harmony's Birthday Month. She just turned 3 years old. I made this song immediately after she was born in March of 2014. I hope you enjoy it, and hope she can appreciate the words when she comes to a higher level of understanding as she comes of age. Music really does change lives, and I want to leave behind a positive legacy for my family to be inspired and influenced from. Ironically, Harmony made me sick the day before I wanted to record this for you all but I pushed through with a weak voice. I almost lost control towards the end lol but it's not her fault, it was one of the kids at the kindergarten who gave it to her. PS: The song has a longer version, but I cut it shorter for the reason above. I'll record it professionally and release it when I can.

I love you Harmony. When you look back in time and come across this post, or whenever I show it to you, take something powerfully profound from these words I write you in this song. No matter what happens in life.

Man, this is worth the wait! I expected this to be magnificent, but I never thought it would be this soulful. My eyes welled up as I was listening to this. Truly. Your love for your daughter really resonates with every word and every hum. Harmony's such a lucky girl to have such a caring father. I just know that she would grow up one day surpassing every expectation for her. She will achieve so many great things, I'm sure of it!

You know what, I just had a thought. Wouldn't it be cool if years from now, perhaps in her teen years, she would create something like "I'mma Be A Daughter" as a spiritual follow up to this. It could compile her experiences and serve as an answer to this. If When that happens, I'm 100% going to be crying my eyes out with joy!

Thank you extremely my friend. SO glad to bring smiles of happiness to your day. That's what my daughter is all about. I really appreciate your generous compliments, and switching from singing to rapping is tough but I have to practice almost everyday. I have definitely missed a note from my own judgements but I'm glad it translates smoothly to many of my supportive listens such as yourself. I'm a tough critic of myself, but I'm not afraid to just perform and embrace whatever flaws, minor or more noticeable, that comes with performing live. It's a learning and growing experience and I aim always to improve with each new song. Appreciate you, and if you have entered, I'll be listening and commenting soon enough!
