Melodious Music Memoirs # 12: Epic Arena (Original Beat)

As I have promised, I will continue to show old and new beats made from Garageband.
Here is another one, which was made last year with my friend Frederick who has no history in making beats.

He just wanted to see the process and I had him randomly press piano keys, then I created the simple bass line you hear and

built around it an Oriental flavor using more Japanese and Chinese instrument synth plug ins.

I basically just pictured a massive amount of skilled martial artists preparing for an international tournament

and were training and warming up for their individual bouts.

I can't help it, I love the martial arts and anything related to it.

The time it took me to make this beat was roughly a couple hours. It's not as complex as my other beats and a bit repetitive, more than I'd like but maybe down the road, I'll come back to it and experiment with it more. For now, here is what I've got.

Time to go kick around some more instruments and cause mayhem in my music software. I'm no music producing expert, but any practice is progress forward. Keep experimenting and challenging your limitations.

I am glad you liked the beat, and I had fun choosing the gifs for this one. I would love to join another Steemit Artists Collaboration project.
