사랑은 그렇게 봄날이 가기 전에 사라지듯 말합니다. 언제나 곁에 있을 것만 같았던 마음의 불꽃은 봄날과 함께 사그라지고 맙니다.

사운드 엔지니어 상우는 어느 겨울 날 방송국 PD로 일하는 은수를 만나게 되고 걷잡을 수 없이 은수에게 빠져들게 됩니다.

겨울을 상징하는 하얀 색감, 도드라진 감정은 마음의 하얀 상징을 남깁니다. 매일 은수를 만나러 가는 상우에게는 봄날은 그다지 중요하지 않습니다.

영원할 것만 같았습니다. 오직 둘만이 함께 할 수 있을 거라 생각했습니다. 변하지 않을 거라고도 생각했습니다. 그렇게 겨울은 하얀 사랑을 남기고 봄을 맞이했습니다.

"어떻게 사랑이 변하니"

허진호 감독의 작품 '봄날은 간다'는 사랑을 믿지 않는 여자와 사랑에 모든 것을 거는 남자의 사랑이야기입니다. 감독 특유의 느리고 섬세한 감정표현은 이 영화에서도 마찬가지로 빛을 발합니다.

조용히 귀를 기울이며 속삭이듯 다가서는 영상들. 소리를 채집하는 장면 장면을 통해 두 사람의 사랑의 교감을 말하는 감독의 연출력, 무엇보다 그다지 많지 않은 짧은 대사가 전해주는 깊은 속내는 보는 이로 하여금 영화의 매력에 빠져들게 합니다.

당대의 최고 배우 유지태와 이영애가 남여 주인공을 맡았습니다. 사람에 대한 연민으로 가득한 허진호 감독 특유의 감성이 더해진 영화입니다. 섬세한 영상은 두 사람의 감정선을 조용히 따라가기만 합니다.

가족과 연인, 그리고 일상에 대한 이야기, 감독은 두 사람의 사랑을 통해 결국 사람을 이야기하고 있습니다.

봄날은 영화와 함께 갔지만 영화는 영원히 우리 곁에 남았습니다.
