[사운드] Lover's Concerto

인터넷 시대가 시작되고 통신이 시작될 무렵 우리에게 다가온 러브 스토리입니다. 인터넷 통신을 통해 서로를 알아가는 두 사람의 애틋한 마음을 스크린에 잘 옮겨낸 수작입니다.

회색빛 도시는 두 남녀의 아픈 사랑을 희미하게 비추어냅니다. 상처를 안고 살아가는 두 사람은 통신을 통해 자신의 상처를 나누게 되고, 서로의 아픔에 공감하게 되는데요.

한장의 음반은 두 사람을 이어주는 가교입니다. 갑자기 떠나버린 옛 애인이 보내온 음반, 우연히 사고를 목격하며 차안에서 듣게 된 음악. 두 사람은 동일한 한 곡의 음악을 통해 서로를 이어가게 됩니다.

한석규와 전도연의 젊은 시절 모습이 인장처럼 고스란히 남겨져 있습니다. 배우의 명연기도 일품이지만 영화의 OST로 삽입된 Sarah Vaughan의 Lover's Concerto는 영화를 돋보이게 하는 명곡입니다.

1997년에 개봉한 영화로 국내외로 모든 게 암울했던 시절 우리에게 다가섰던 애틋한 사랑, 두 사람은 어쩌면 그 시대를 살아냈던 젊은이들의 초상일지도 모르겠습니다.

영화의 장면에 곡이 흐르는 영상과 원곡을 부른 The Toys가 라이브로 곡을 부르는 영상을 같이 올립니다.
