Archisteem Report #017: 1001 Places to Remember's Story Collection [18072018]
Dear Steemians,
The 6th Season of 1001 Places to Remember has six five days to go and we welcome all of you to submit your amazing stories for the contest!
In order to keep track with the growth of the story collection under our 1001 Places to Remember Project, we would like to produce this weekly report updates about the contributed stories so far. With this report, the contributors can double check whether their submissions are recorded in our library and report to us if it is not.
There may be cases whereby the contributors used #placetoremember which should be #placestoremember (Places = as it refers to a lot of venues). Thus, please double check the two tags that needed to be in the post: #archisteem & #placestoremember.
The generated list below contains all the received submission from the Steemit community as of today regardless the posts are accepted or not. There are several reasons that the post will not be accepted:
- Plagiarism
- Less than 300 words
- Tag usage error (misspelling or missing tag)
These 3 are the main reasons that we encountered so far and we hope that the future contributors can take note on it. We do not wish that your hard work create such amazing story being wasted just because of not fulfilling the requirements.
Once again, we are grateful to all the contributors and would hope to see more in the future!

Ultimately, we hope to increase the rate of submission received and hit our final milestone which is 1001 stories (qualified) to be made into a publication for the Steemit community and even the non-Steemit users. We are excited to promote stories that embedded with unique memories through the aid of Steemit platform.
Again, we would like to invite dear Steemians to support your favourite stories from this post's comment. Feel free to drop any comment and feedback for them or even us, the organizer. We welcome critics and suggestion all the time.

Here are some collaborations that are ongoing and making the contribution gaining more impact and reward!
Photocircle by @funtraveller
#photocircle is a curation program started by @funtraveller (also happened to be the co-creator of #archisteem) to curate photography submissions with the #photocircle tag. One of the themes for the photography curation program is Architectural & City Photography which is aligned with the 1001 Places to Remember project as well as #archisteem.
We decided to collaborate under the theme Architectural & City and share the prize pool as well. This is a mutual relationship that will help both programs to thrive and to reach a larger group of audience.

A City A Story by @aaronli
This contest is a weekly contest initiated by @aaronli. The intention of starting this contest is to encourage more people to share about culture and stories of their hometown or their cities. This could help to promote the place’s uniqueness to a larger audience and in another way, to express our personal love to our beloved hometown and cities.
We found that both of our projects are well aligned and decided to collaborate and to make things bigger with more exposure! Participants will now get a chance to win both prizes at the same time, making the prize pool larger than before!
