So excited to introduce this place for you, it’s an extraordinary store named “chun yi zhi,” which is located in Luye Township of Taitung County, Taiwan! It’s selling popsicles which are all made of the local fruits like pineapple, lemon, sugar apple and many so on!

Let’s take a look why it’s so special!

哈囉，大家好！

今天要跟大家介紹一間位於台灣台東縣鹿野的一家在地特色商店，他是一家推廣當地小農農產品的誠實商店，名字叫「春一枝」。

當年廠長移居到台東鹿野後，發現當地有許多好吃的農產品，特別是水果如鳳梨和釋迦等，雖然品質好也全台知名，但因為小農缺乏文宣廣告的能力，所以常有農產滯銷的情況，他決定要想辦法盡一己之力幫助當地農民，將當地的農產做更進一步的利用與推廣！

In the origin, the owner moved here and realized the local fruits are with high quality; however, due to lack of commercial promoting skill and knowledge, these fruits are often left unsalable! He wondered and started to think what he can do for the farmers and how they can find out the solution. Then he had an idea, why not making popsicles out of the local fruits and selling to both the locals and tourists here?

他首先收購當地特色農產水果，並將這些水果製成天然無添加，同時保留最原滋原味的冰棒產品來販賣，如此一來，不但可以保障農產的收購價格，又可將水果的保鮮期稍稍延長，更可透過不同產品的販售讓大家更進一步認識台東在地水果的好！

Don’t they look so yummy? It’s really nice to have one in the summer time! 是不是看起來就很可口啊！

Besides, to lower cost, the owner decided not to hire people running in the store, in other words, he made it a self-service store which was quite pioneering then and even nowadays!

此外，為了節約人力成本，製冰廠長決定進行一種經營模式的創舉，也就是他只有早晚來開店，或有空時才過來店內，而平常的營業時間，僅在櫃上與架上標示商品價格，由要購買商品的客人自動將金額投入櫃檯的誠實箱中！也就是說店內並沒有店員看守商品，當然也沒人可找零。😲

Facing the overwhelming doubts and questions from many people, he stated his belief was based on “human goodness by nature!” And he made it by extending many branches in other cities of Taiwan! So now people are able to taste the popsicles made of the local fruits of Taitung in Taipei and many other cities!

因為他相信人性是善良的，也對來到這兒的客人展現充分的信任！剛開始受到的質疑當然很大，也有人覺得這種經營模式是不可能賺到錢的，但一晃眼十幾年過去了，不但證明了這單純的經營模式還是可以營利，也在其他縣市陸續展店，所以現在台灣，不管是台北街頭或者台中等地，都可見到春一枝冰棒的蹤跡，雖然在其他縣市通常是與店面合作設櫃，所以有專人販賣，但在台東的鹿野本店這兒，直至目前為止，還一直是維持這種誠實商店的經營模式喔！

“Chun yi zhi”proves not only the self-service management mode is able to succeed but also make it possible to promote the local fruits of Taitung, which is the origin intention of the owner!

Next time when you come to Taitung, don’t forget to taste one of the fruit flavor popsicle to cool down, and don’t forget to keep change on your visit then!

所以春一枝商店的成功，不僅是種經營模式的突破，更證明人性善的光芒，只要相信，沒有不可能。當然，這也回到老闆初衷，真的將台東鹿野的農產品推廣出去了！👏

下次到台東來玩時，記得到這兒嚐一口充滿在地滋味的透心涼冰棒吧！當然也記得要自備零錢，因為這兒沒有專人可以找零喲，當然也歡迎不找零當做對當地農民的支持贊助囉！😉
