One photo every day: Dusk at Vesijärvi (325/365) + bedtime story
Hi again!
I almost forgot the foto of the day.
I decided to post something calming. While you all liked the actual sunset photo I had taken with my smartphone, here's something that will sooth your mind and prepare you for a good night sleep. :)
Finnish nature
I shot this at Vesijärvi after the sun had disappeared behind the clouds, like this:
Nice sunset
There was a bird swimming in the lake...
Goldeneye?
I wonder if it was telkkä, a common goldeneye (Bucephala clangula). Hard to tell, as it was so far away.
A black-headed gull flew over...
Black headed gull (Chroicocephalus ridibundus) we Finns call it "Naurulokki", the laughing gull
And yes, we are back to the serene light of the twilight, so familiar to the Finnish nature...
Good night, everyone!
P.S. I finally edited the animal farm photos. I guess it's going to be a long post, so you'll just have to be patient with me. ;) These last days have been a bit full of action, that I wonder where I could manage to get the time to do everything plus edit and post things on Steem. Here's to hoping though...

@gamer00,
Your country got one of the most beautiful sunset! Amazing collection of photography Jaro! Good night!
Cheers~
@gamer00, Of course, My mind ready to be meditate across aggressive environment. Far horizon on the sky golden patterns created with combined sunlight, clouds. Adorable reflection fallen down to lake water waves, then lake view equal on the sky color combination.
The bird enjoying to swim on the lake and then another beauty already going home. At what time you taken these clicks? Finnish sunset so fabulous.
It was about 10pm.
Omg...That's nice time to catch peaceful clicks.
Some really nice shots man, I love this part of the day. The almost lilac pink color is very calming isn't it, gets one ready for a fire and some marshmallows. You know how you get the gull to stop laughing, stop telling him jokes.
Thank you very much for such beautiful and calming colours of the scenery!
I have to say that I never saw these kinds of sunset before, so flat yet so many layers of quiet moods and feelings.
So, this is the calm and deep thinking of the Finnish culture and mind which have been influenced by this nature! I am quite astounded by these photos! No wonder you also appear to be so calm and quietly thoughtful with hidden immense potential and compassion.
I would love to be quietly sitting by that place for a long time.
These photos have a lot of impact on my mind! So simple yet so powerful!
Great stuff! Thank you very much!
The photos of this sunset only reminds me of some words of a wise friend "Never lose hope ... Remember that when the sun goes down, the stars look out"
Good friend right now I appreciate even more his explanation that he gave me when I sent him the sunset photo where my youngest daughter is. Now if I can understand the technique after seeing these beautiful photos.
And I give you the reason sometimes it takes time to be able to publish many good things, esome happens to me, the university consumes me time. I'm still about to make the publication commented.
The photos are really beautiful, they look relaxed and peaceful. Seeing these photos can take stress away from somebody.
Hello again my friend, this time if you came back loaded with photos. It seems that your sunset lasted an eternity hahaha and with respect to your time, I also wonder the same thing, how do you have the time to do everything you blog every day? Hahaha
You nailed it in the second photo.
The sky looks so amazing over there! Really like these photos! The air here is so bad it's hard to get a nice clear view like this.. also it's the UK so clouds are in the way most of the time anyways..
I hope Jaro will come to congratulate you on your 1k followers.
Damn, the whole world should know about it!
