English Teacher?

Yeah, I was teaching English in Vietnam (VN) for five years from Thanksgiving of 2012 until Thanksgiving of 2017. I went to Bac Ninh to teach at New Star, an English center, and then taught at a cafe, in Bac Ninh, my first 6 weeks, and then taught for a week in Hanoi and then for another week in Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa.

Good Morning, Robin Williams?

I went to Saigon on Sunday, the tenth of February of 2013, a day before my 28th birthday, and taught at English centers and at schools, a few times, and then started teaching as a freelance English Teacher. I started finding my own students.

English Speaking

I've mostly taught conversation English because many Vietnamese already learn grammar and how to write in English in high school. But they don't generally get to practice it. They tend not want to practice English speaking & tend just speak in Vietnamese with other NGUOI VIET. I've taught children & adults.

Leaf Pagoda

I've taught large classes, over thirty students at the Leaf Pagoda in 2013. Taught at Fellowship Youth Group (FYG), a Christian club, at Mr. Ribs BBQ. I taught the employer at Purio Coffee as a tutor. Also, helped out his employees. Would also teach at coffee shops, at houses, at parks, all over Ho Chi Minh City, during my five years in Saigon (SG). I've had many adventures there and also visited surrounding cities & 2 visa runs to Cambodia. I've shared some of my photos and adventures I've had in my article, My Five Years in Vietnam.

Always Raining in Seattle?

At the moment, I'm near Seattle, but I still think about going back to Vietnam or to other countries. I think about whether or not I want to teach English more and more like online and offline, here, there, or anywhere. I've made some videos, playlists, articles, photos, things, over the years, to help people.

But I'm really going to try to make better ones.
