STEEMIT CULINARY CHALLENGE - Winners of #40 "Mexican Food Showdown"

Last week's theme "Mexican Food Showdown" chosen by guest judge @tioluis brought many, many wonderful dishes into existence (and into hungry bellies), and once again has given us all much viewing pleasure!  I'm sure too that many of these recipes have been bookmarked by fellow Steemians who can't resist trying out these mouthwatering meals.  The quality of the entries, as always, is phenomenal and I do believe it's getting harder and harder for the judges to choose winners from them!  @tioluis certainly had a tough time, but choices must be made and so here we present this week's winners.  Everyone put in so much effort - not just the cooking but presentation and rule-following too - and I both acknowledge and appreciate all of this!  @tiolus was also impressed by the entries... for the delicious factor, for the research that went into them, and the Spanish included in the text!

Also we acknowledge the very generous bonus prize of 10 SBD from @tioluis for "The Most Authentic Mexican Recipe".  There was a misunderstanding in which I thought he'd retracted this prize, but he hadn't!  So I have just edited this post to include the prize (below).  Thank you @tioluis!!!

We have a different theme each week, and all you have to do is prepare a dish appropriate for the theme, and also ensure you follow the general rules of the challenge (which are in every 'new theme' post).  You don't have to be a master chef - just try to be creative with your recipes and take beautiful photos, since unfortunately we can't taste the entries so you must help us do this with our imaginations!  Original recipes are encouraged, but you may use someone else's recipe as long as you credit the original source.
