This week, I'd like to thank every Steemian who supported the entries of the Steemit Culinary Challenge #4: Super Salads by upvoting, writing down their encouragement shout outs on the entries' comment threads and have resteemed the theme announcement. Thank you all very much! Your supports are very much appreciated!
I'd like to commend everyone who has done their best to comply to the MUST DOs of The Steemit Culinary Challenge #4: Super Salads. This week's result has - again , nothing to do with my food preference. It's about nailing the MUST DOs and the given criteria.

@smooth that's great ! thanks a lot!
Thanks very much @smooth for my prize money for both those weeks. Sorry for the late thanks, but I assure you I appreciated it the moment I received it!
Fantastic!
To all that participated in the challenge I say congratulations, I have seen so many beautifull recipes and really hard work .
And last but not least thanks @englishtchrivy and all the judges and sponsors for creating and neatly arranging this culinary challenge.
Well done to all, and I raise my cup to you all !
Wow! That's awesome all. Congratulations for the winners. Sorry @englishtchrivy, I cant joined for this challenge, maybe for #5 next week :)
@steemvest17 thank you, yes, no worries, hopefully there would be a 5th!
Fine... oh ya, you missed my chat...
Aahhh , some fantastic entries and when I saw that shamrock I had a feeling it would do well!! Congratulations winners and everyone who took part!
Wow, thank you so much! This is a pleasant surprise! Thank you for making this contest possible and thank you to the sponsors! :)
Thats very awesome for you ! Congrats! Who knew Tofu and Quail eggs ! Be sure to enter again next week, you might get first ! And its pretty fun as well ! Steem on! ♨🖒👍♨
Thank you! The competition was tight, and it was a nice surprise.
Congratulations to all the winners! It's great to see more people in the challenge. Steemians like salads!
Congrats to everyone !I really thought i was in the running considering i met all the criteria , step by step photos, the recipe, put it on steem chat, and i was second on the trending page! With alot of upvotes and money. After fineally having a Saturday off to actually enter as it is very time consuming , it just actually surprised me more then anything else! 😊
Great job everyone ! Sorry i wont be able to enter again for awhile but it was alot of fun anyways! Steem on! ♨🖒👍♨
@karenmckersie, I'm sorry you feel that way and I want you to know that I really appreciate your contribution and as much as I want everyone to win I have to do my best to make a fair selection.
I hope you go on and I look forward to you - joining again when you can.
Thank you very much.
Oh really thats fine! I made close to 120.00 in the end when the SP payed out and I fineally hit the trending page for quite awhile, so I consider that a win ! Thanks for replying! Just very busy with work! Steem on! ♨🖒👍♨
@karenmckersie, thank you and I hope you try again, you're not the only one who goes through that and it also pains my heart I think I've told @meesterboom once in the chat that I want to just divide the prize money to everybody ( i started doubting that am not a socialist) but that would be more unfair. Steem ON indeed!
You making the trending is already a breakthrough so I raise my glass to you - for more breakthroughs!
Yes indeed! I love steemit, and am just really busy , but when things calm down i will enter again , thanks ! ♨

Thank you for hosting this challenge and thanks to @roelandp and @smooth for sponsoring. Though I didn't enter this particular challenge, I think it's totally worth a go. I appreciate all you do to help build this community @englishtchrivy
@everlove, thanks, finally someone who thanks the sponsors - but hey - we also have @razvanelulmarin and @wingz ey?
I hope that if there would be a 5th, we get to see the gang of the garden of eden, too!
Well, some of the sponsors!!!!! I love you all! Thank you @razvanelulmarin and @wingz!!! Grateful for your supportive contribution. It is likely we too will join you. Anything can happen! Thanks for the heads-up! Silly me.
Thanks so much for my prize!!!!!!!! I can't tell you how pleased I am, it's made my entire week, really! My post made all of $0.15 which made me feel a little gloomy tbh, but now my wallet is much happier. I thank everyone who voted and the sponsors too, and @englishtchrivy for the challenge as when it came to eating my salad I enjoyed it soooo much, and I never would have made it if it wasn't for your culinary challenge! Good fun everyone, well done on all your salads, they looked very tasty :-)
Your salad was beautiful, @woman-onthe-wing@! And it had to be tasty, with that salmon! Congratulations!
Thanks so much @haphazard-hstead! Yes, it was extraordinarily tasty, I didn't expect it until I sat down to eat it! I didn't realise you had also entered until last night, and then it wouldn't let me comment on your post. I would LOVE to know more about wild foraging as I only know little atm, and think it's awesome you were able to make a tasty salad from these wonderful ingredients. I do enjoy your foraging posts and as my son grows I hope to learn myself as I teach him about it, as we live right on the edge of a forest I can't not go foraging! So thanks for all the tips!
You're welcome, @woman-onthe-wing! It's not too hard to get started in foraging. My suggestion to people is to list the plants that they already know how to identify with certainty - including trees. Then see if any on that list are edible in some way. Not all parts of all plants are edible, but if several parts are edible, then start using those plants in those different ways - tea, greens, buds. Before long, you've got a free outdoor grocery store, just waiting for you.
Sorry for the delayed reply!
This seems like a good way to begin, thanks for the tip!
You're welcome.
I never saw it on my feed or I definitely would have upvoted! It's very creative and well done! I'm sure it was mighty delicious too. :) Congratulations
