not surprised...
how come i'm not even surprised
by those scandalous recent events
about many millions they decided
happyness is taken from innocent lives
how come they are so ill advised
or is it just their bad intents
and there's billions to be divided
by cheering on the sharpening of knives
how come we are so damn hypnotized
by our phone's tiny screen contents
almost all of us in a way misguided
made junkies by that successor of hyves
how come this world is so polarized
and why the other problems it presents
just why is it, all feels so lopsided
not just to the people that it deprives
how come we are all so paralyzed
are we calloused because of precedents
while we fail to see so shortsighted
that we are our own reality's midwives
how come we are so demoralized
working for and paying who torments
for his party we'll not be invited
untill the rebel spirit finally revives
and how come you are not more vocalized
because he who is silent just consents
and wouldn't you also be delighted
when our better future finally arrives
Are we going to get lied into war again? Trump shooting down the "Iran deal" was no surprise, and who is cheering and boo-ing neither. Funny how the cheerleaders are both notorious regimes that routinely kill people for profit... Not to mention this could become the Nth conflict that the US has in it's short existence. Did you know that the US has been at war 93% of it's entre existence? And how many of them wars we're fought in the US or on it's borders? Not even a handfull.

Important speeches and essays of one of our national heroes is collected and published in this book I write what I Like.. one of our beloved cartoonists recently drew this to show up the contradictions between those great ideals we used to have and those which pervade the society we live in today ...
First and foremost, I aim to express how I see things around me. Secondly, and as crucial, I aim to profit from it. If I don't profit - my kids will go hungry, they will grow to despise me, I will shrivel up, die and blow away and people will say bad things about me and promote others who didn't care as much as I did, didn't see things as I did - and I will be forgotten and no one will miss me ;-) actually, people will dance when I am gone.
Love Ayn Rand. She really expresses something others missed. Yeah, the US the new Sparta, LOL. Spreading Democracy. Not sure why they dropped out of that deal. O well. The US vs. Russia proxy war turned into the Isreali vs. Iran proxy war real fast.
Yes, the fake news, or partially fake news in this case, has been put on a roller coaster. Just like the "Skripal" and "Douma" thing, funny how it's always on those matters they act so seemingly rash... Like 3 days after the Paris attacks, an assorti of "leaders" and "other war criminals" had their fake photo op. Oh, and 3 hours later signed some secret terror law deal... These deals take years to set up, not 3 days. Problem, reaction, sollution, classic Hegelian dialectic.
If people only studied "Geo politics" some more, they would understand exactly how this World is run and by who. But, it is clear, people will rather watch "dancing with the stars, backwards, on ice, naked!". To all our demise...
