Steemit Poets United : Daily Dose of Poetry and Prose #47 (@madevi edition)
Good evening everyone!
So, we have implemented the new rules and they have reduced the link dumping a lot. Thank you all for understanding and sticking to the rules.
The participation of members is picking up as we expected. If you follow this daily close you will have seen the issues made by @udezee and @warpedpoetic come by. Tomorrow @ange.nkuru will write his first Daily Dose too, so let's see what style he will come up with. Thanks to you all for contributing to the success of the group and it's members!

If you are not already doing so, you can follow @poetsunit and @cleansingpoetry, that last one is our curation resteem bot. To help the community grow and thrive you could upvote and resteen all issues of the Daily Dose, also upvoting fellow members poems is a good thing to do. If we regularly upvote each other we will all gain. Another way to support the community is to write the Daily Dose, try it some time, it's not that hard and we are always ready to help you out. Well, with that out of the way I will get on with the meat of the matter: the poetry...
Today's top pick is by @paulanii and is called "She can't go on, she'll go on". It's about a woman leaving the safety of indoors only to discover that it was a bad call...

The second best poem, in my opinion, was entered by @cheryldavis. She has a serious lyrical vein in her that leads to very nice poetry. This one is simply called " Life". It's about important wisdom imparted by mama but also about it's shortcomings.

The third poem for today is by @nationall and is called "the sad man". It's a bit mysterious, as many of Nationall's poems, sometimes I feel things get lost intranslation. But we have to remember that English is not his first language, as with many poets here.
