Steemit Poets United : Daily Dose Of Poetry and Prose #49 (by @madevi )
Good afternoon everyone!
This is already Daily Dose 49 and tomorrow i will have the honor to write number 50 as well!
There were seven entries for today, but one of them didn't use the #poetsunited tag so got disqualified. I have picked the best three in my opinion.
Number one for today is by @samueloption and is called "Winter in the tropics". I don't feel I can review it better than @acousticsteveo did, so I will simply quote him:
Great poem, I loved how you contrasted the winter in the northern world with that of the Southern sunny world. I also liked how this related to the reversal of tears, which repeated, and made the poem into a complete circle. - @acousticsteveo
The second best poem of the day is "Achilles or Hector", @quilfire asks this pertinent question of the reader, be vain and victorious or heroic and defeated?
THe last poem reviewed in this issue is by @akinboyewa and is called "The she-guy". It's a tribute to women written for International womens day.
