STEEMIT CULINARY CHALLENGE #40 - New Theme Announcement - Everyone Welcome for SBD Prizes!

Last week's theme "Baby Food" gave us yet another amazing collection of entries, thanks to guest judge @shady.  It was quite a challenging theme, but still you guys seem to have no problems delighting us with your wonderful creations!  I loved @shady's theme choice, as it meant much more attention was placed upon nutritional qualities of the meal rather than fancy recipes with fancy presentation.  As much as we enjoy viewing fancy food, I think most of us involved in the SCC consider it a place to learn as well as to show off (!) and that includes me.  Even though I have an almost-two-year-old who has a great diet and no health complaints, there is still always something else to learn that will benefit his health, and mine too.  And so for everything I learn from you all - I give my thanks!

This week will make it #40 in the Steemit Culinary Challenge, which means I'm celebrating twenty rounds since taking over as host!  I want to thank all of you - participants and supporters alike - for helping this fantastic challenge to continue going week after week.  I raise my coffee mug here to a bright and prosperous future for the challenge and for all of us!  Slainte!

For those of you who have never entered this challenge before - it's very easy! We have a different theme each week, and all you have to do is prepare a dish appropriate for the theme, and also ensure you follow the general rules of the challenge (below).  You don't have to be a master chef - just try to be creative with your recipes and take beautiful photos, since unfortunately we can't taste the entries so you must help us do this with our imaginations!  Original recipes are encouraged, but you may use someone else's recipe as long as you credit the original source. 

This week's guest judge is @tioluis, originally from Sonora, Mexico, and now living in California with his girlfriend and their growing baby bump!  We all know by now he really loves to cook, and regularly treats us to all kinds of dishes made with wonderfully nutritious, natural ingredients.  He's also a very soulful type of person, keen to try new experiences and make the most of life, and always seems to wanna spread the love...
