I thought I might try making a shot of a glass with the 50mm lens, but got too tired. I'll do it tomorrow and add fizzy bubbles.

You should take a photo through a "real life filter" for your OPED. It can be any item that you want to use or unusual perspective or lighting. The point is not to edit the photo.

I mean what does a "real life filter" mean?
For example, a glass jar can work as a real-life filter. When you shoot through the bottom of a glass jar it creates a nice effect.
Not going to ask whether the glass is half-filled or half-emptied because it might bring me something like this one :D

So many concentric circles, it looks like it is spinning round and round. This brings to mind a quote from Daenerys in Game of Thrones, and since you are the "gamer00" then a quote from Game of Thrones can be appropriate.

Spinning - that is the impression that your photo of the glass brings to me.
