Instagram Growth Tips - Part 2

Hi guys! Here is the second part of my Instagram series, if you have missed the first one, you can find it here.

Today I am going to write about Stories, Live Stream, Hashtags, and Captions.

As you know, Instagram offers many features that you can use. And the more features you use, the better your content and profile get promoted through the algorithm. Here are some more tips and tricks to be successful on Instagram

1. Stories

Stories are a great way to engage with people, and to show who you are or to share a message through videos, text, and pictures. Here is no limit, you can post as many as you like every day, but try to make them interesting for your followers, share behind the scenes videos, tutorials, recipes, inspiration and use your creativity to keep your people watching. When you share something personal and also inspiring every day or at last a few times a week, people will come back to your stories, every time you upload a new one.
If you normally dont post pictures of yourself, here you have the opportunity to show your self, the person behind the pictures. You can use your stories to promote your post, to engage with people, to share a message or anything you have in mind.
There are many features in the stories you can and should use. For example, you can add hashtags to your stories, which I can recommend to get more views and for new people to find you through the hashtag pages. You can also let the viewers ask questions, or rate the video or picture. Use the location tag. because that can be a great way for people to find you when they search for places. There are many apps that you can use, to make your stories look prettier and professional. If you want to keep a similar look in your stories, use the same colors, text style, and apps.
Stories are saved on your profil in 24 hours, after that. they are gone. But you can save the best one in your highlights.

2. Live Stream

Use live streams to connect with people on Instagram. The live stream dont need to be advanced, but try to create them in an interesting way! Show people the places you visit, the set up for your pictures, or just speak and share your story/message. You can also invite people to join your live stream, and speak with them live. Live streams are also saved 24 hours on your profile.
I recommend to make live streams on a daily basis, or at least as often you possibly can! This is a great way to get noticed and for the algoritm to support you. When I do my live streams, I experinece a bigger interaction on my feed compared to the days when I only make stories.
Have fun and be creative! The live streams dont need to be super long, make them in a way you like and dont worry about how you look or what you should say, people love seeing you and what you are doing, and to be honest, nobody cares how you look! Drop the pressure of perfection and have fun while being you.

3. Hashtags

Hashtags are great to use in your caption or in your comments. But be sure to use them wisely. Because as you might know, there are big hashtags with many users, such as #vegan, #food, and #love and then there are small tags like #plantbasedtreat, #rawfoodism or #veganicer.
The smaller your account is, the better it is to use small hashtags because when you use the big hashtags with many users, your post will get lost very quickly in the mist of others.
The best way to find out which ones work for you is to try out different tags, but always relevant to your content.
You can use up to 30 hashtags, and even more, if you first add them to the comments under your post, and then edit your post to put some tags there. But I would definitely recommend you to add some in the comments, and just a few in the caption. You can also tag brands, or big pages in your post if you are sharing something of value for them.
How the hashtags are being used, is changing the whole time, so try out what works, and what doesn't.

4. Caption

Create a caption that is interesting to read, fun or with facts. You can share something personal to connect with your followers, or sharing valuable information. Your caption can be long or be short. Not everyone will read it, but the more interesting you create it, the more people will continue to read after the first line, and also get back to you when you upload something new.
As I mentioned above, you can include some hashtags in your caption, but if you add many, add them with a gab to your text. People can get irritated by too many tags if they are right after your text without a gap between.
