What's the Matter?
When my friend came to America 30 years ago he wanted to say, "I have a headache. I need medicine." But he said, "I am headache. Give me pharmacy," These words have another meaning in English. It is something like: "저는 두통이다. 약국을 주세요."
Back then there was no English program for elementary students. Now 6th graders learn, "What's the matter?" and "I have a headache." This is the topic I have to teach next week for class so I prepared a chant based on "La Cucaracha." Soon the cockroaches will be all around so I think the students will love this chant @dtube. I have to work on my rhythm some more and fitting the music with the voice. My youngest son likes it a lot but I don't think it is 6th caliber yet. I will make a better recording tomorrow.

Why the splatter?
From Sea to Shining Sea
Flickers like a candle in the wind.
At the thirst for attention
With no good intention.
And the home of the brave?
Of the loss of dignity and trust.
