Joy to the World
The fish in this water color is a symbol of East meets West.
This is the word that came to mind:
“Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you islands, and all who live in them.” (Isaiah 42)

In the corner of the picture on the top of the mountain you can see a tiny bonsai tree. This is the messenger from the mountaintop far away but the message travels from the dark shadows into the world of light.
The one changed by the message is the great fish. This fish is a sign that comes up out of the water. This great fish makes me smile and I want to join him together as he swims. His message is that even a huge fish can jump out of the water and reach for the light.
The message brings joy to the world and love for everyone. I share this love with the kids in our school and want to do more. I think this social media site can gather support for the old public school I teach at.
Next semester begins in March and I will talk with other teachers and our social welfare office to see what they need. I would like to help some kids in darkness take one step closer to the light until they are leaping like that great fish.

Echoes vibrate
In a mountain location
Resonating reconciliation
Penetrating shadows of consternation
A bonsai sways but is not shaken
Calling out to bones that have no ears
Be awaken!
From the crags of dissipation
Shameful humiliation
Illumination open your imagination
Spread your umbrella of invigoration
Dry bones rejuvenate
Liberation from stagnation
Sigh of relief, Ahh
One breath of life
And the ocean stirs
Marine creatures come to life
Released from dark concatenations
Bound with chains of amiable relations
Freed by a handiwork of love
Plant drifters, Sheldon and Karen, leap for joy
Poppy puffer fish spreads her love
Don and Billy the Orca beam with delight
As golden rays of sunshine give us light

Thank you for your nice comment. I read Isaiah firstand then the painting and then the poem. After doing this I learned not to work so hard and just post piece by piece. I think I had a lot going on just for one post.
I went over some of my posts and tightened them up...or thought I made them better.
