STEEMIT CULINARY CHALLENGE - Winners of #48 "Unique Lentils Dish That Was Never Seen Before!"

Last week's theme from @babettxx "A Unique Lentils Dish That Was Never Seen Before!" inspired some lovely culinary creations... including one sweet recipe from @foodie.warrior which may have been a surprise to some who consider lentils to be an ingredient confined to savoury dishes. This is the kind of creative thinking that enables us to get different nutrients into our bodies in ways that suit our personal tastes... and which keep our diets interesting and our tastebuds happy! So here we have some beautiful and delicious recipes using lentils that are sure to suit everyone's tastes! I do hope they encourage others to cook with lentils too, as they're so versatile and nutritious.
Just because it's good to eat lentils doesn't mean they have to be prepared in any conventional ways, which is one reason I never look through recipe books. I don't want to be influenced by the creative thoughts of others when I've got an imagination of my own!
The entries were all wonderful - unfortunately we had one too late for prizes but I included it here anyway, as @creativewoman is an excellent cook and I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on her recipe just because of some insignificant deadline! I hope you enjoy looking through them as much as @babettxx did... She was very impressed with these recipes and struggled to make up her mind who to award the prizes to!
